We went to Vegas with a group of 8 friends for a sort-of birthday trip. We checked prices and the best time just happened to be the weekend before I turned 30. We had an awesome time. It was only my second time to go, but I think I'm hooked. It's probably because I was winner this time!
A few of us went to go see the Cirque du Soleil production Love. It's a Beatles tribute and was amazing. I don't even know how to describe it. There were acrobats coming from the ceiling, out of the floor, stage left, stage right, dancing, cars, trampolines. It was sensory overload AND I loved it! I would definitely recommend it.
We also rented a cabana one day for some much needed pool time. I don't know what the difference between a 101 degree dry heat and Texas heat but it was hot! The cabana was fully stocked with snacks, sodas, water, juice, fruit and cheese, and at the end the attendants brought our group all the extra fruit and cheese trays from the cabanas that were not sold. We devoured it all!
The cabana came with a couch, 2 chaise loungers, a table, TV, misters and a hostess that brought us anything extra we needed. The pool was packed so it was nice to have a cabana oasis to escape to.
We also met this really creepy guy we named "Ronnie" after Jersey Shore but he actually got us a hook-up to hang at the adults-only pool for free. So it worked out. It was the "Hot Spot" of Vegas. This was the best people watching spot, hands down.
And what Vegas trip would be complete without a limo ride? We rode in the limo for one hour up and down the strip to see all the casinos. We were high rollers...or at least we can pretend!
This was Brent's first limo ride since prom! Hee-hee!
Viva Las Vegas!
