JULY:
My little man turned 3. We had a superhero themed swim party. He had a blast. I can't believe he is already 3!
August:
We mainly spent our days swimming and avoiding the heat. We did make it to Grossology in Ft. Worth. It was, well, gross.
Here Eli is climbing the dermatitis wall.
Into the alligator's belly
SEPTEMBER:
Labor Day we took a trip to Red River, New Mexico. We drove the entire 12 hours in one day and Eli was a trooper! I am still often amazed at the laid back attitude he has. I think he must get it from Brent.
Fishing with Daddy
Taking a four-wheeler up the mountain.
On a nature hike with Colton
Eli's first fish!
And then our biggest life change - Pre-K 3. Eli started a 2-day per week preschool program and is loving it. I was nervous because he has a little bit of separation anxiety but he has been 100% okay since the first day.
Even on days that wakes up and tells me he doesn't want to go to school by the time we are in the parking lot he is kicking his feet with excitement. He likes his teachers and I can already tell a huge change in the way he interacts with kids and focuses on tasks. Now, October is not over so I WILL post about this month in a separate post BEFORE the end of the month.
:)
ReplyDeleteWe had NO regrets about 2 day/week PreK-3, and then 4 day/week PreK-4. It really helped our little guy!
Can't wait to see Halloween pics. I still think about how cute he was in his little gnome costume in the past!
